What is a Portrait Pop-Up?

Simple, clean, classic. No forced smiles or poses. Just personality-filled, beautiful images of your child. The background will be one solid color (for this April Pop-up the color is bone/cream!), the shots will be a variety of horizontal and vertical in both color and black & white.

How long does the session take?

The session is quick! Each slot is 5 minutes.

My child takes time to warm up, what if 5 minutes isn’t enough time?

5 minutes is a great amount of time to capture who they are right now! I’ve been working with kids for many years. Yes, some are more shy than others but that’s OK! That’s who they are and that’s what I want to see! I’m not aiming for a huge laugh or a forced smile. If I get a natural one, great! But my goal is to connect with them quickly, honestly, and genuinely. These will be faces you’ll look back on years from now and think, “that’s them.” <3

How much does this cost?

Your non-refundable $30 retainer will hold your spot for one child and will be credited towards your purchase. Each child must have their own time slot. Gorgeous keepsake prints and digital images will be available for purchase when you proof your gallery.

How much do products cost?

A single digital image is $30. Your child’s whole gallery of edited images is $150. If you have more than one child you can purchase their galleries for an extra $60 each: example; two children, both galleries are $190; three Children/three galleries: $250..) Prints and canvas gallery wraps are available for purchase and will be displayed at the pop-up! Don’t forget your 30 retainer is credited towards your purchase! :)

What should my child wear?

Let your kiddo be cool, calm, and casual! Stay away from t-shirts with words or graphics and neon colors. Stick to simple, classic, neutral colors or even fun jewel tones!

I have more than one child, can you photograph multiple children?

In short, yes. I’m more than happy to photograph multiple children, but each child must have their own time slot. Due to timing, siblings will NOT be photographed together (unless they each have their own time slot). No parents will be photographed. If you’re interested in a family session please inquire here.

How do I order prints or digitals?

After pop-up day, you will be emailed a password-protected gallery with all of your images. You will then be able to order prints or digitals straight from the gallery. Digitals will be accessible after you purchase them. Prints will be mailed directly to your home. NYST and shipping are added to all print products.
